By combining some of the highest-rated species on the Janka hardness scale—including Shagbark Hickory, the hardest wood native to North America, and incredibly dense, moisture-resistant Bloodwood—this board is built to endure years of heavy kitchen use while maintaining its integrity. 

The interaction between the open grain of the Oak and the tight, closed grains of the Hickory and Bloodwood creates a dynamic visual depth that truly "comes alive" under kitchen lighting. Each board is meticulously hand-finished with food-grade mineral oil and organic beeswax to ensure a velvety-smooth, 100% food-safe surface.
